Go the Distance

“The Obelisk it is!” Wylan said agreebly, trotting along the flat field of the Col as he led the way to the large monument. As he did so, he pointed at a couple dens, and explained who was on each side of the Col. He pointed up to the only den that had an incline to reach it. “That’s Bas and Hazels” He explained as they reached the centre of the pack. “Pack meetings are held here as well, by the firepit” he explained, nudging a wing towards the fire, which was kept burning at all times.

“And uhh.. This is the Obelisk” He said a bit redundantly, pointing at the large stone before falling silent. Giving the other wolf a chance to take it in, and read what was written on it. “The names at the bottom are wolves that have fallen while a part of the pack” He explained, voice a little softer.
