Go the Distance

When Wylan mentioned their den, Seneca suddenly stopped to look for it. He wasn't as familiar with the woods as Wyl was, so it took a moment to find. And, perhaps some stretching... Seneca placed a paw on the rock to their right to steady himself as he pushed up his front half to try and see better. When he finally caught a glimpse of it, he pointed. "Hi, Ollie!" he yelled, then laughed and turned back to Wylan.

He listened as they walked up and up, nodding as Wylan explained what else there was, and that he and Ollie even had a spar up there. He mentioned Basilisk probably wouldn't mind if Sen wanted to build his own outpost, and Sen gasped at the idea. "Oh, that'd be fun! I'll have to ask him... eventually." One day, possibly, in the future. Maybe when spring or summer hit - by then, he wouldn't be some strange kid to him. But, how cool would that be? He could stash some blankets and pillows and sleep under the stars, or just straight up stargaze all night.

He sighed as he daydreamed, his tail wagging. "How often is Andy up here?"
