Riot's face was noted as Kai gave her a lick and the larger sister just grinned sweetly. They both knew that she was affectionate and annoying, but it all came from a place of love. Riot knew that. If she didn't, well... Kai would just have to try harder then, wouldn't she?

Drowning trap, she was informed and answered with a nod. Riot asked for help with the rope and Kaino did so, using her superior size to roll the stone enough so that they could tie the jute around it securely. Together with her sister, Kai made sure that the rope was tight and wouldn't slide one way or another. There was enough of the rope, so Kai suggested that they tie a threeway stretch around the boulder. It wouldn't do to go through all the effort only to have the rope roll off upon impact.
