A gift for grandma

Thyrus immediately took to her idea of making a gift for his grandmother which she was happy about, but then he asked what they were going to make and she hummed thoughtfully for a moment. She was no stranger to making things that didn't have a specific, useful purpose. She liked making pretty, decorative things on occasion–the carved castle she had once made as a wedding gift to the alphas of The Hallows, for example. She felt like that was probably the way to go for this gift given the fact that both of her parents had all of the armor and weapons they could possibly need and the pack had more than enough baskets, blankets, and other general tools at the ready.

She looked around the clearing and while they didn't have much in the way of flowers on Alias Island, there was a few patches of small clover flowers and such around and plenty of vibrant greenery and bright berry bushes. "Why don't you gather up some little flowers and pretty branches and then we can go to my workshop to find something to make a vase or arrangement out of them?" she suggested, looking to her son to see what he thought about the idea. Honestly, she was pretty sure her mother would be thrilled if one of them simply brought her a rock they thought was neat, but for the sake of putting some effort behind it they could come up with something more substantial than that.
