Siblings as his only friends, while it insinuated an inability to be as social as she expected, it was endearing. She smiled at that admittance, enjoying getting to know the man. Her tail beat against the ground a few times, stopping short as he spoke next. His mate had died. My condolences, Magnus. She rested her delicate cranium on his shoulder, in an attempt at comforting him. He was so warm, even in the cool nights of Autumn. She sighed, listening to the rest of his replies. His parents had died as well, which broke her heart, since it was not of natural causes. She too had lost hers, and knew the agony inside one felt afterwards. His growl rumbled through his frame, she felt it in her skull as it vibrated slightly.

One cannot change the past, only accept it. She murmured, her soft, silky voice tinged with the wisdom of going through the exact same thing. The icy rose lifted her cranium, looking at him with her consuming moonstone orbs. I too lost my entire family, so various things, but all caused by a single fire. She whispered, her eyes filled with a sorrow one could simply not grasp. Most of my pack was killed in the escape, but the few that survived endured the journey with us. My younger sister was carried off by a hawk, my twin brother, mauled by a bear, my father and the rest of the pack, killed by an ambush of rogues. My mother died of starvation before we could make it to these lands. She told him, her voice hoarse with emotion, with tears unshed, with the horrors she had seen. She sighed, turning her eerie gaze to the stars and simply staring at her family, walking within the stars now, watching over her.
