he's not even the most competent healer in the room

Wake is, perhaps, the least competent healer the Raiders have on their roster. Far more concerned with that which would make him feel, than that which makes him not. The boy is a thrill seeker, and that's all. Still, mum's rabbit didn't look like he was taking any prisoners today, and Wake knew better than to pull anyone more competent from their work.

Shouldering a bag of stuff that looked not-unlike the one Sakana brought when he was tending Wake himself, the boy is off. Surely he can wipe out and sew up a few cuts, right? Dragging out a clean blanket and draping it around his shoulders, that'll be helpful too. Following the rabbit back to the source of the call, Wake's brows lift.

"Go a couple rounds with the bottom of the sea?" Already beginning to assess his patient from the jump, Wake begins to set himself up.

An uproar of sorts is enough to rouse Jael, though she watches only from the shadows. The unsettling, steady gaze... she can't be away from Modesty long, especially these days. Still, she's unwilling to come into the light. The tumultuous events, as of late, have been tough on the little dog.
