The orders of Enki were clearly heard, but like many before it, the young pup chose to hear only what he wished. The words 'stay safe' left an unsavoury aftertaste in his mouth, whereas the lesser emphasized part about not having to kill them all seemed more like a delightful suggestion. A dark smile tugged at Cadaver's lips at Enki’s daring display. His gaze flickered between the pack leader and the startled coyotes, watching as chaos unfolded and blood stained the dirt beneath their paws. The scent of copper was in the air, mingling with dust and fear. It was intoxicating.

With a disturbingly eager growl, Cadaver lunged into action without a second thought. Enki’s cautionary words were drowned by the adrenaline-fueled roar in his ears. He moved with a predatory grace, not a pup anymore but a hunter, his dual-toned figure darting through the chaos. Amidst the pandemonium, one particular coyote caught his attention—larger than the rest, its eyes gleaming with a malicious intelligence that matched his own. It snarled defiantly at him, seemingly aware of the threat this oversized pup posed. To Cadaver, it was an unspoken challenge. A test of strength and agility, dominance and control.

Lips curling back in a savage grin, Cadaver charged towards his chosen opponent.
