Aresenn stood at the southern rim of the valley, his eyes squinting against the sharp, cutting wind that swept down from the icy cliffs. From this vantage point, he took in the full expanse of his surroundings, harsh and unforgiving as they were. His gaze lingered on a massive form prowling near the water's edge - a polar bear.

It was massive, its white fur blending in with the tundra landscape the valley had been turned into. He wasn’t exactly looking forward to having to deal with the apex predator … but it could be left unaddressed either. "Damn bear," Aresenn muttered under his breath, squaring his shoulders against the arctic blast. He began to descend down the narrow canyon path, picking his way carefully over the treacherous terrain slicked with ice. And just as he launched himself forward to close the distance between himself and the thread- he called for anyone nearby who was interested in pulling their weight.
