Aresenn stood on the edge of the valley, squinting through the harsh winter light at the enormous beast lumbering towards him. His pulse drummed in his ears as adrenaline surged through his veins. He was no stranger to danger, but the sight of the massive elephant seal was enough to give even him pause.

"Damn," Aresenn muttered under his breath, not bothering to hide his distaste. The elephant seal was an ugly brute, with a body as large as a small grizzly and a face that looked like it'd been bashed in with an ugly stick. It flopped across the icy tundra towards him, releasing deep guttural roars that echoed off the surrounding rock faces.

"Come on then!" Aresenn growled out loud, waiting for the behemoth to reach him. As the distance drew close, he made his more. Launching himself forward to find hold in the blubbery brute.
