Forward we March!

Wylan watched as fights broke out around him. His father started a match, and Ollie, too! He brought the edges of his wings forward, cupping them around his mouth. “You've got this Ollie!” He called out, a one man cheer team for his brother. Basilisk found an opponent too, and Wylans tail started to slow behind him. Did people not think he looked fun to fight? Where they not interested in matching with him?

Before he could get top disheartened a wolf stepped towards him. Instantly, his tail picked up behind him. Going a hundred miles an hour as he grinned at the dark wolf. “Hi! I'm Wylan. Sure, I'd love to. Have any tips?” He asked warmly, treating this opponent in an unknown pack like they were on the fast track to being best friends. The black wolf peeled back their lips and displayed their fangs. Wylan peeled his own back, lowering his top half and wagging his bum as he snarled at the stranger. 

The black wolf barreled towards him and Wylan took one bounding step forward to meet them. The stranger hit a lot harder than Wylan did and the winged boy was forced to flare his feathered appendages to save his balance.

When the stranger went for his neck, wylan brought his two wings forward, aiming to strike with the pointed tips into each shoulder of the black wolf. Somewhere around his paws, he could hear his polar bear and sheep charging forward.
