Jian had watched his brother follow after their mother when she suddenly left and, after glancing at Dempsey and the rest of their siblings, she took off after him. The pair of pups made the long journey, or at least what seemed like a long time to them, to the battlefield. She was really tired by the time they got there, but just like Lel the sights and sounds of the battle made her lift her head. She followed Lel to the scene of the battle, also taking a place beside the dark form of Medusa. Her black-backed ears folded back when she spotted her mother, dark redish-black stuff covering her. Jian had fought with her siblings all the time, it was like playing, but she had never seen her mother fight, much less seen her hurt. She whined softly and waited for it to be over.
