On Top Of The World

Since Rory had returned with their mother, Gru has never been far from his twin’s side. Right now, his large form is wrapped gently around the smaller form of Terror, neck draped over the slender shoulders of his twin as they dozy. A call has his pale blue eyes blinking open and he lifts his head to look in the direction of the summons.

Rory stirs, groaning in annoyance and Gruesome looks back at the smaller boy reaching down to drag his tongue down the fur between his twin’s ears. It is an attempt to help him wake up and he only stands once Terror has found his paws. Slowly, carefully, he walks to the meeting place with Rory, tempted to either scruff his brother and carry him or invite him to ride on his back.

However, Gru knows that Terror needs his space to able to do simply things again since his horrible illness so, with that in mind, he slowly treks alongside his smaller twin. They arrive and find a meeting place, settling into the soft grass together. Lowering himself onto his belly, he allows Rory to snuggle deeply into his side as they wait to see why they were called.
