Jynn grinned, all to familiar with the question. "I'm a maned wolf, but no I'm not what one would consider a true wolf. I'm my own unique kind." At least as far as she was aware. There were many species of canines but she'd never met another species that fell in line with the maned wolves. The man stated that his companion would stay out of the fight and she nodded, leaving hers out as well. They were far enough back it didn't particularly matter either way.

"Ready?"

Jynn gave a short, sharp nod, making sure to tuck her chin, her shoulders rolling forward as her hackles raised. He was stronger than her so she'd need to make use of her speed. The man charged straight for her. Not as adept at head-on confrontation Jynn bounded forward and off to her left, dodging the man's charge as her long neck uncoiled, her teeth launching for his right side, just where the back of his right arm connected with his body. She sought to nip him, a glancing blow with no grab. It wasn't worth the risk at being unable to bound swiftly away.
