Spider’s teeth find their target, sinking into the woman’s scruff with a momentary flare of triumph. they realise a beat too late just how vulnerable this rends them to attack, and pain lances up their legs and chest as their opponent showers a flurry of quick blows upon them. releasing their grip, Spider relinquishes their hold on the woman in favour of ducking the worst of her strikes, dancing on the balls of their feet. in a final last-ditch effort to gain the upper-hand, they dart back in range and try to slam their shoulder against the woman’s, hoping to unbalance her enough to cease her blows.
