The ability to breathe again was a wonderful thing. With one of the barriers out of her way, the only thing left now was time. So much had changed since they fled across the Bifrost. Siduri's call hadn't come the day of the meeting, and Gilgamesh had seemingly been resurrected from the dead. A large part of Modesty had been relieved, but she wondered if Siduri still had other plans.

Seeking out her daughter within the Ravine, poking about beneath her tree rather than scaling the steps, she hadn't been too far away. Modesty continued to follow her nose, seeing out her pale pelted daughter.
