Corbie had just finished pulling out her ground cloth - a sturdy hide that had been well treated with oil to be waterproof - and a bowl when a voice called out to her gently. She glanced up, surprised but with a welcoming smile directed at the younger stranger. "Of course! We are always happy to have guests," she told the stranger, not hesitating at all to pull out a second ground cloth and bowl that would have been Ren's, had the dog not been away. Ayer the kinkajou already had the kettle filled and swung over the fire where it was cheerily steaming, almost ready for the packet of herbs to go in. "Please, make yourself comfortable," Corbie went on, spreading the cloth by the fire. "Could I offer you some tea?"
