After a moment of thought, she dug back into her pack for the jar of honey and another bowl, thinking that she could offer the little hummingbird honey water rather than tea, out of politeness. Eyeing the friendly bird warily, Ayer swung the now-heated kettle off the fire and poured a small amount neatly into the third bowl as Corbie added a dollop of honey, then tossed the herb packet into the kettle to steep while the honey dissolved. "So are you traveling through, or is this beautiful place where you call home?" Corbie asked Fic curiously. Corbie rarely found time to make her way so far south, herself, but when she did she always appreciated the diversity and beauty of the southern continent, so different from the gentle farmlands she lived in now
