he found his way to her, as he usually would. her scent a distinct smell of sweeter jasmine.. and- something new. a scent he's encountered only a handful of times from his relatives and surely nothing that excited him before his adulthood; the scent of pheromones from a female in early heat stealing his attention like no other. it fogged his initial response to fic, becoming overwhelmed to the inviting perfume that she failed to masked entirely. he exhales, nares stinging from the strong aroma. "Fic- are you okay?..," he called out, emerging from behind the mound where the water poured from. he stepped around it, choosing not to get wet today as he made his way near her.
he approached slowly, confused with her smell & the snarl she made as she whined aloud. was she hurt? his ears flattened, coming closer to sniff her with caution. his nose flared like a bull, picking up her current cycle and state. it sends him back a step as he held concern for his sudden irresistible urge to mount her. but this wasn't his way; this wasn't how he wanted to treat fic. "I'm- sorry." he choked a bit, clearing his throat and trying to focus on anything other than her erotic scent. inevitably, he grew an erection, his flanks becoming taut as he remained some feet away to avoid anything happening that fic did not want to happen.
he had self control.. even if he did struggle. "How have you been?" it was weeks since he last saw her.
