When Crux leaned his head lightly away, she folded her paws on her chest and looked down at him. Her eyes light and teasing as she watched his consideration. When he spoke of her mother, she placed one of those paws against her chest. “I’d protect you.” she teased him lightly, her tail swaying to and fro behind her.
“Picking a den all for ourselves is pretty exciting” she said thoughtfully, as if she could be swayed. “But if you don’t want me to ravage you right here, it’s going to cost you.” she warned him. Placing both forepaws down on his stomach, and kneading them lightly in his fur. As if her tiny body could really do any harm to him. “Let me see… something easy. Two kisses, and a promise to love me forever.”
