Siduri had cleared a little spot within the shrubbery at the base of her treehouse. The bushes shielded her from view and she'd even laid out a little piece of hide there for comfort. The girl found that, once people went up to the house and saw that she wasn't there, they tended to leave. That suited her just fine. Only Sakana had seen through her ruse so far and now, it seemed, so did her mother.

A pastel head poked up over the bushes as her mother rustled around, apparently looking for her. Ears tucked back against her skull before she made her way out into the open. "Hi, mom," she murmured, her usual confidence nowhere to be found. Sid motioned her mother up the wooden catwalk and into the treehouse so that they could both be comfortable.
