He watched her eyes droop, and shook out his paws. Willing them to dry faster. Meanwhile, He grabbed a stone out of the fire. Almost dropping it as the heat seared his paws. He managed to wrap it in a bit of material, binding it tightly before he leaned over and tucked it against Iggys chest, between her forepaws. 


He got to work on the second stone, wrapping that as well. This time he came around the fire, and nudged the hot rock gently under her stomach. He pressed a kiss between her eyes. She looked so tired. It had been a long walk for her. “Sleep, little bird.” He whispered, pushing down his desires in the face of her exhaustion.
