If that occasionally meant rounding up a few pups, he would do it. He wasn’t entirely surprised when one of them - Davey, he believed (but there were so many of them) stuck their nose into the den Kes was enlarging. “Hey Kiddo, looking for someone in particular?” He asked, lifting his head from his work, and swiping a bit of earth from his forehead. He stepped back from the job, giving the pup his full attention.
