Ailments big and small

Nelu's mind was recovering faster than his body. His thoughts wandered to what had transpired since his illness, as well as his projects that had been left half finished. Some he could pick up and continue, but others were entirely ruined. He tried to will his body to move but it seemed impossibly heavy despite his emaciated frame. His companions were out and about. They'd been bringing him little trinkets here and there from their travels.

Nelu continued to let his thoughts drift while he waited for his check up. Instead it was Tamsyn that arrived, his grandmother. He shifted, trying weakly to sit up as she greeted him. "Tired," he said simply. "Every movement seems to take such effort. How are you doing grandmother?" He knew she'd been having troubles with her health as well. He could only assume from her older age.
