As soon as Fia was turning to take her kill, the large brute was jumping onto it startling her and causing her to regain her footing back from under her. She could sense this guy was from the neighboring pack of her own, not that she had any opinions about them one way or another. She was just pissed off they had taken the sound. There was a part of Fia that was ready to throw a huge fight over taking the deer home, but she would cross the bridge when she got there. The brute took a large part in ending the deer's life, and Fia could tell how much he enjoyed it. It was a strong visual as he bit into the deer and it slowly bleed and seized until it was dead. At this point Fia was just a bystander.
But then she saw him. She wasn't daft, and it wasn't uncommon knowledge how much her own family enjoyed the hunt. Prey or wolves. She liked to when it wasn't a chore which it was dreading every day she had to recently. She didn't think long, but she had to wonder. Simply leaping onto the young man when given the opportunity seemed foolish. So instead she decided to play the game she was ready to engage in. She dove her nose first towards the warm and dead deer, latching down closer to it's chest with her serrated teeth and growling as if defensive that the deer was hers. It was her game though, she'd have to figure out how he would play along. Clearly, clearly, he was enjoying this normality of life more than the average wolf.
