Coyotes were a pain in the ass. There were tons of them all over the continent and they tended to get rather froggy. Ballsy, if you will. Big groups meant big confidence. Well... Big wolves meant big uh...holes in the throat?

Quill and Deimos burst into the clearing just outside of the coyotes den. The smaller canines made a beeline for them, snapping and snarling. No big deal. Quill leaped towards the nearest one, jaws wide. As he snapped it up, another bit into his hip. The brute spun, smacking one coyote with the other before releasing the bitten one from his grasp. It limped away, but there were many more where that came from.
