SPEED IS LIFE

Spending time down is Auster has been wonderful for Enki and he has made his way from the land with the fossils to the place where a river cuts a winding path through a canyon. The promise of water draws him down to the bottom of the rocky ravine, paws carefully and deftly picking the safe ways down. Tongue hangs from the side of his mouth as he steps up to the edge of the water and leans down for a long drink where he is met with a pleasant surprise; although it is arid and hot, the water here is blessedly cold.

Once he has sated his thirst, Enki lifts his head, fat drops of water falling back to the rivers surface as his eyes roam over the natural twists and turns of the canyon’s floor and he can’t help but feel like this would be a great spot to race someone. Tongue flicks over his lips as he searches the riverbank, hoping that someone might show up and want to race. It is wonderful day to be out and running after all!
