Wolves and bears

Coho has come to one, undeniable conclusion in her rapid trek; ice is slippery. Paws fan out, body dipping low toward the cold surface as her tiny claws attempt to grab ahold of anything, while the thin area of ice that houses water underneath grows ever closer. While there is a sense of urgency in her, there is also a strange… thrill that ignites very nerve in her body and sharpens her senses. The cold air feels like tiny daggers on her skin while her paw pads slowly fade away as a numbness takes over.

But, there is no fear in her because right now, she feels alive .

Eyes flash with excitement as the big winged wolf dives toward her, scrambling to grab ahold of her as a new sound fills the air; laughter. It is high pitched, boarding on squealing as the guy slips, grabs her, and slows the rapid path toward the open water. With a soft thump, she comes to a stop against the larger body of the teenager and the peals of laughter slowly fade away as her chest heaves from the force.

Once Coho has caught her breath, she joyfully shouts, “Again! Again!” Paws slap the ice as her body vibrates from excitement and she scrambles to get up to her paws as she attempts to run back where she had started her slide. Before she races off, the pup happily says, “Hey mister! Want to play?” Butt wiggles as she looks him, eyes flashing with youthful joy before she suddenly remembers her manners, “Oh, I’m Coho. Now, can we play some more?”

Dipping into a play bow, she waits to see if the big guy will play. For some reason, he looks a little… frazzled right now.
