A smirk tugged at the corners of his maw, his eyes gleaming with a dark mirth as he watched Fia. She was bold, he'd give her that, but he wasn't one to back down either. "First to jump doesn't mean you brought it down," he retorted, his tone laced with a feral playfulness. His grip on the deer didn't loosen, matching her intensity as she made her own claim.

His nostrils flared, drawing in the intoxicating scent of the fresh kill – a scent now mingling with her own. There was an unsettling satisfaction that welled up within him, from the sight of blood, the taste of conquest. He could feel his pulse quickening, his anticipation building with every passing moment. In this game of dominance, he had found an equal, or at least someone who dared to challenge him. Truth be known, he didn’t give a shit about the deer. It was the fight he was after. Unyielding and unwavering, he held his ground, a low rumble emanating from deep within his chest. His chest thrummed with a predatory sort of excitement, his gleaming eyes never leaving Fia's.

"Maybe you need proof," he sneered, the words rumbling from his throat sounding more like a dare than anything else. He pressed his paw deeper into the deer's flesh, his masculinity in full display as he used that single action to assert his dominance. The blood seeped from his hold, drawing a stark contrast against the forest floor. His gaze flitted towards Fia for a fraction of a second before focusing back on the deer. He wondered how far she was going to and a part of him hoped she wouldn't back down anytime soon. This was what satiated the monster within.
