The little golden Hattori girl was busy slinking between the mangroves trying to see how many tiny fish she could catch. She'd wait in the shadows and let her light fur reflect the light onto the water, canceling out her shadow, and giving the fish a false sense of safety.
She gathers her hinds to bound after a decently sized one but when it veers off back to the deep she sees Jiro and Jynn eyeing the big birds. Whatever they were up to she wanted in on it.
She plopped her rump beside Jiro, possibly his nearly constant shadow at this point, and listened in on the plans. How does one stalk a really big bird that could probably see you coming several bounds away? What if they used the trees and lured them closer with tiny fish?
She slinks away again, a noise like a soft splash comes from under the roots and she returns with a tiny fish, Placing it at Jiro's feet.
"Lure them closer." She said quietly to Jiro, her words barely perceptible, just loud enough for him to hear her.
