Winds on the Wing

Seeing her warm smile, Wylan was more than happy to return it. Grinned at the smaller wolf, inviting her in with his expressions. He did tilt his head a little to the side, though his warm expression never faltered. Her words were… strange. He’d never heard their like before.

“Oh! I’m sorry, I’ve never heard that language before.” he apologised, clearly regretful that he didn’t immediately understand her. “But you're talking about my wings, right? You can touch them if you want?” he suggested, tilting one of his wings down so she could have a better look at them. “I’m Wylan!” he said, hoping he wasn’t speaking too fast for her.
