With Redbud Nook being the pack's choice of expansion, Cerberus would lead the fighters to the less frosty trees of the spring nook. It was nighttime, when the predators they would need to rid the land of would be out. Some of the wolves were probably used to a nighttime schedule and some probably weren't. They would all need sharp minds to keep themselves and each other safe.

The signs of the coyotes were here, Cerb had noticed an abundance of small carcasses left behind and tracks from the smaller canines in his scouting from the last few days. He knew this was the threat for them and their prey of the land. It was time to take care of it.

"Everyone stick together, there's more of them then us." Six coyotes were grouped around the nook somewhere, but he knew once they advanced they would have the pack's attention. They may have been out numbered, but the coyotes were outmatched. Some of Cerberus' group may have been wounded during the endeavor, but he'd do everything he could to prevent that. He trusted they would have his back too. He treaded forward in the dark woods carefully, looking for the flick of glowing eyes in the distance.
