What makes the scent of mother so comforting?” He glanced back at her, a smirk playing on his lips. “And why do you always seem to have the best questions, Seri?” Ludovic nudged her shoulder again, his playful nature resurfacing as he gave her a cheeky grin. “One mystery at a time.”
