Ha! Buffoolery!

Jynn picked her path carefully, her long, slender legs stepping gently from space to space. She moved delicately, almost like a deer, but that delicate movement hid the ferocity of her fangs and the strength of her lithe limbs. Crouching low, her limbs coiled beneath her like a taut spring. When Cifarelli charged so did she. Jynn shot across the land, focusing on picking up speed as one by one the wolves latched onto the cow. A few bison turned back as if to assist but with a fierce snarl and hackles raised Jynn leapt for them. Deciding better the would-be rescuers turned tail.

Jynn whipped back around, watching as the cow fell. Bounding forward she sought to join the black-pelted woman latching onto the cow's throat. She held firm as the cow tried to kick out at her. The great head tried to thrash back and forth but with the other wolf at its nape there was little the cow could do to save herself. Her last breath rattling out into the chill winter air.
