The dame watched in fascination as these wolves arrived, groveling at the Alpha's paws and doing everything within their power to earn a high rank! Begging, groveling, compliments, food? Did they really think such things would be impressive? Mama had always told her that respect and honor were things to be held in high regard. But such things needed to be earned, you could not buy people off with pretty trinkets and soft words... even she knew that! The alphaess addressed both her and Ceto... Jupiter, such an odd name. She smiled brightly at the woman, her tail an ever ceaseless blur behind her.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Jupiter! I am honored to be a part of your lands!" Luana spoke with perhaps a bit more excitement than she should have but she was excited. She still didn't understand this whole rank idea. A wolf was a wolf was it not? Did it truly matter what title they held if they were kind and willing to protect what they loved? Luana didn't think so. The femme before her could bestow upon her any title she so wished. Her only desire was to stay with Cetotorah, everything else was a bit of a blur. Ceto's voice upon her ear surprised her but as his world, she giggled softly turning her head to whisper back.
"I am waiting for one to start offering a blood sacrifice... like those wolves in Talutah!" She whispered into the shell of his ear scooting a touch closer to him. They weren't seasoned warriors like some of these wolves might have been, but the way they were behaving... she wondered if she and Ceto were the only ones that had any kind of self restraint. Even she had managed to reign in her never-ending energy.
The male healer was the only one not to plead or grovel, he stated his talents and fell silent. She had never met a healer before... perhaps she could speak with him later? He sounded interesting!
