spring dawns on their healing pack, a collaborative amalgamation of faces both new and old. Spider follows their packmates at a cautious pace, moving through the unfamiliar territory with narrowed eyes and pricked ears. they know little about Avalon and it’s alpha, but they’re quietly confident in the Armada’s chances. Bas has been recruiting and training the new recruits with admirable dedication, and, in some cases, Spider has witnessed the recruits’ determination and skill in person. they’re a strengthening group, and even if they lose today, this raid will only serve to further hone their abilities as a pack. coming to a halt, Spider rolls their neck and shoulders, relishing the crack. they shake the stiffness from their limbs and scan the horizon beyond for an opponent.
