Don't think twice

Perhaps the pink dame should adopt a bit more caution into her life, but she absolutely would not let herself submit to fear. Despite the demonic king decimating her homeland, she did not fear him. She wanted to get better than him, to hone her skills until she could one day face that dark wolf and send him to hell where he belonged. Her father would not want her to be afraid, and her mother would applaud her fighting spirit. She knew that the path she was on was the right one, she just had to get better. In Judila, this would have been her training year, and she meant to keep to that tradition.

While the blow she delivered him was meant to knock him off his feet, the male did a rather good job of bracing himself against her greater size. He stumbled back a bit, but ultimately he caught himself. The low growl that bubbled up in his chest spoke more of thrill than true anger, and Atreyu answered with her own rumbling tones. Kicking off from the ground, Veigar aimed for her shoulder. Atreyu moved to the side, but not quite fast enough. His teeth gripped her fur and skin, his shaking head causing her to snarl out a yip. The pain wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been, and she could tell he was pulling his punches.

Atreyu would give the male the same respect, though she would not go fully easy on him. Curving her neck as he grasped her shoulder, Atreyu aims her pink muzzle down toward the nape of his neck, jaws open wide. Bringing her jaws down on him, the spotted dire wolf aims to grasp his scruff in her teeth and give him a punishing shake. She would ensure that she wouldn't break the skin or cause much damage, but she did want him dizzy.
