Learn to move as one

The notation that a raid would happen soon isn’t foreign to Merlin’s mind because Corbie had already told them that the Armada would be knocking soon and that it would be another, friendly raid. Part of the young man wonders if all raids are friendly or if there is such a thing as an ‘un-friendly’ one. However, he doesn’t get much time to dwell on that question because a booming call from Avalon’s borders alerts the pack to the incoming raiders.

A grin splits his maw and Merlin quickly herds the sheep he had been tending to, into a pen, which he closes and locks, before taking off at a full sprint toward the ‘attacking’ wolves. The dappled man arrives quickly and finds that he is the first of Avalon’s wolves to arrive which is fine by him; it means he gets the first pick of attackers.

Eyeing the towering form at the head of the charge, he decides not to fuck to with one and, instead, zeros in on a white male that is still taller than him but not at as dizzyingly so. Without slowing, Merlin aims toward the pale form, the grin still on his maw as he races up to greet the man head-on.

Without stopping or slowing, the dappled male moves straight in toward his opponent and, when he is close enough, seeks to try and dodge around toward the man’s right side so that he can attempt to aim a bite toward the male’s ankle. It’s nothing overly harmful, just something that would cause pain and let them know he intends to leave bruises in this fight.
