Battle-tested

This was it! A chance to test the skills he had spent so much time practicing. All the long hours and days of keeping his muscles primed and all the sword swinging to master different techniques were about to pay up. Thorn carefully looked over his sword, well-cleaned and sharp he put it back in its sheath and strapped to his back. The sword was heavy yet a familiar weight that seemed natural.

Thorn entered the chamber, sharp-eyed looking to the others who had gathered, with the majority being blood family along with a few others considered family by sharing the pack.
He made his way forward, sitting near Dusk, no surprise spotting her here. His head then turned to face his father, ears up fully alert for news on this upcoming battle.
