It'd been long enough since he participated in the last raid, though the memories still felt fresh in his mind. It hadn't been a friendly raid like this one, not at all - the raiding party had come to steal what Avalon had worked so hard to build. Though he hadn't intended to join the defending party, when the day came he figured he may as well. This could very well be the last raid he participated in, why not make it one to remember? Maybe it'd even cover up some of the less kind memories of past raids. He was particularly overjoyed to be fighting alongside his son, who he noticed when he made his slow approach to the group, noting that fights were already beginning to break out. Stretching his limbs as he strode up, he was grateful for the mild day and that his joints didn't feel quite as stiff as usual. He'd slipped on his bracers and helmet before setting out, and he slowed when he reached the group, scanning it thoroughly. Now.. for a target. Many of the wolves leading the charge were quite young, and he assumed inexperienced, though he knew nothing about the Armada was weak. His attention fell on one of the yearlings, Wynter, and he let out a bark to announce his intentions. Reeling back slightly, he charged her, aiming to throw his larger frame at her head-on.
