SPEED IS LIFE

Jynn pulls ahead of him and Enki’s head lowers, helping to make him streamline. Heart thunders in his ribs as large paws pound the ground, kicking up loose dirt and pebbles alike as they follow the natural curves of the land, moving toward the river as the canyon narrows before widening again. With the more open space, he puts on an extra burst of speed.

They are neck and neck as the willow tree comes into view and the woman leaps over a shallow rock formation while he nimbly crosses the gap as well. Adrenaline thrums in his veins as long branches dance on a gentle breeze beckoning the races toward it. Everything fades away as he stretches out his gait, hoping to beat Jynn to the tree so that he can claim the victory here.
