Ellara's grip on the bear's hindquarters faltered as it twisted around to face her, its eyes wild with desperation. The bear's sudden focus on her didn't rattle her resolve; instead, it steeled her determination. Hearing the other wolf's agreement, she knew they had a fighting chance together.

As the bear lunged at her, Ellara sprang back with agile precision, avoiding its powerful swipes. Her knees remained bent, muscles coiled, ready for the next move. The raven's relentless pecking and the other wolf's fierce assault on the bear's neck provided a critical distraction.

Seizing the moment, Ellara darted to the bear's exposed side, aiming for its ribs. Her teeth sank deep into the thick hide, a growl rumbling from her throat as she held on. As a large paw came swinging towards her, Ellara released her hold and sprang off her hind legs to get a few feet away from it again.

"Stay on its neck!" she called out to the white-faced wolf. "We'll wear it down!"
