Steel and claw

As she moved forward into Elysium's lands a young man ended up in her path that was coated mostly in pale fur with swirling darker markings running around various parts of him. A grin pulled at her lips as he squared off with her with a quick nod just as she finished sizing him up. He was a tad shorter than her, but had a similar build and a quick scan of him and a glance behind him told her that he wasn't very equipped for a fight. Still, she had to admire the tenacity to run headfirst into a fight regardless and he was doing just that.

She braced herself in a defensive stance as he charged toward her head-on. Just as he was about to make contact she bent her legs to duck down, allowing his chest to make contact with her shoulder and causing his jaws to snap around thin air just above her back. The impact of his chest into her shoulder was certain to leave some bruises despite her armor taking some of the impact, but that was hardly enough to even make her flinch. She used the extra leverage her position gave her to push her shoulder up into his chest, trying to drive him back in a battle of wills and brute strength. Meanwhile her jackal loped around in a wide enough arc to avoid his teeth before diving in to try nipping at his back ankles, hopefully helping to throw off his balance or at least distract him enough for Rebel to get the upper hand.
