Steel and claw

The purple and black woman that meets her on the battlefield is fierce and unafraid. Though it is only Bramble’s second raid, she is not unaccustomed to fighting different opponents unknown to her. Matching the grin given to her, Bramble slows her charge as the distance closes between them. She’s taller than her opponent, but not by much. It suits her fine, they’re both slimmer builds as well.

Bramble notices these things, calculating how the fight will go when Avacyn surprises her. Just as she prepares for a frontal slam, the purple woman leaps to the side with such grace that Bramble is left gasping, her paws lurching into the hard ground to stop her momentum. As quickly as she can, she spins her hindquarters around so that she is once more face to face with Avacyn as the Matriarch lunges down toward her ankle. Teeth grasp around her skin, but she can’t waste her already in motion momentum. Leaning forward over Avacyn, Bramble aims to grab ahold of her scruff. Bramble begins to twist, bringing her free front paw forward toward the side of Avacyn to almost hover over her. Leaning closer to Avacyn over the ankle that is held by her, Bramble hopes to send them both falling to the ground in a take-down style move.
