The past and the future are much the same

Morotis watched as the Warlord considered Hikaru’s words, and saw the towering wolf glance at him. He didn’t know what Basilisk was thinking, but he seemed to decide something when he looked at Mortis. “Welcome back to the Armada, Hikaru, Mortis will show you around.” He waited around another few moments to ensure Hika didn’t need anything, before vanishing back into the woods.

Mortis turned to the spotted wolf and offered him a small smile. “Welcome back” He echoed, nodding his head towards the woods. “I’ll show you where I sleep, and I can show you the rest of the pack if you like.” He was putting off the introduction to his kids, and he knew it.
