Steel and claw

Bramble uses her strength to push downward. Her focus is so much so on her attempt to knock Avacyn to the ground that she doesn’t expect what comes next. Crack! Skull to cheek. A sweeping headbutt that forces Bramble to release and her movements to propel her backward a step.

Feeling the smart of being outsmarted, she gives her body and head a good tension releasing shake before zeroing back in on Avacyn. The friendly grin that sweeps across her lips indicates that she’s definitely not deterred by the fight so far. She still had a chance!

Hoping that Avacyn was still recovering from the sudden release of their grapple, Bramble lunges back in. As she nears her opponent, she continues to step slightly farther past Avacyn’s head until her shoulder is aligned with Avacyn’s hip. Using her forward momentum with a dip of her front end to better align her taller form, Bramble aims to shoulder check Avacyn in the soft area of Avacyn’s belly between the back of the rib cage and her thigh. If she can knock the Matriarch unbalanced, she might just get the upper paw and win this!
