born to fail
Kintsugi
Today the little wolfdog was on a mission to inspect the caves where it seemed like most of the pack lived. Their various scents had intrigued him as he'd ventured up the precarious paths, and this time he was keen to give a more detailed investigation. Perhaps he could better understand what went on in the caves, or meet some of his neighbours. Thus far, the little family had been largely insular and avoided contact with the other wolves. As far as he was concerned, this was fairly normal. Even some of his sisters weren't particularly keen on spending time with him, more so than his own mother. Desponia had made a point to ignore him rather frequently, for reasons he wasn't entirely certain about. One of the dens smelled strongly of plants, though he wasn't entirely certain what types. So, the skinny child ventured along the lower pathways of the island's mountains to see if he could get in. It was a large entry, that was certain. Nothing seemed to be blocking it off, so he scooted a few steps further inside. Looked about, searching for anyone who might be barrelling towards him to stop him. The smells of all of those plants was intoxicating, begging to be investigated. Already, he could see a few bunches of foliage hanging from the ceiling, for some reason. Were they what made the whole cavern smell so strange? Cerulean eyes drifted once more towards the outside, hunting for anyone nearby who might object. Just... a quick peek. That wouldn't hurt anyone, right?
