Inferna followed her brother Nox with a bouncy, unsteady gait, her little legs carrying her through the tall grasses. Her white fur glimmered in the fading light, and her pink eyes sparkled with curiosity. She saw Nox trying to catch the fireflies and couldn't resist the urge to join in the fun.

Sneaking up behind him, she gathered all her puppy energy and pounced, squealing, "Gotcha!" Her small body collided with his, and they both tumbled into the grass, giggling and rolling around.

Lying on her back, she looked up at the fireflies, her chest rising and falling rapidly. "Look, Nox! Star bugs!" she exclaimed, her words coming out in a babyish lisp. "They... they like stars, but close!"

She reached out a paw towards the glowing insects, her eyes wide with wonder. As she was captivated by the dancing lights, something else caught her eye. A small, white creature was lurking nearby, watching them with bright, curious eyes.

Inferna tilted her head, her curiosity piqued. "Nox, look!" she said, pointing with her tiny paw. "What's that?" She tried to get up but stumbled a little, still not quite steady on her feet. The albino wolverine, as white as she was, sniffed the air and took a tentative step closer, its pink nose twitching.

The little wolf pup, undeterred by the unfamiliar creature, took a few wobbly steps towards it, her tail wagging slightly. "Hi," she said softly, her baby voice full of innocence. "You... you wanna see the star bugs too?"

The wolverine cub seemed to consider her for a moment, then inched a bit closer, its bright eyes reflecting the fireflies' light. Inferna giggled, delighted by the encounter. She turned back to look at Nox, her excitement evident. "New friend!" she declared, her words simple and pure.

As she and the wolverine continued to watch each other, the fireflies danced around them.
