Desponia figured at least her headbutt would miss but as her fangs met flesh she couldn't help the slight smirk, not even fighting all that hard to keep the younger woman's paw in her grip, letting her opponent rip her own way out. That said Bramble's hope was on point, in truth Desponia hadn't exactly had a plan for after missing her headbutt beyond the bite and as the younger woman had started moving quickly out of the way Desponia stumbled onwards, trying to slam on the breaks. But too slow.

With an audible whump and the sound of air rapidly escaping lungs Desponia found herself on the ground, tackled. Frankly it was a little to close to a run in with a certain winged asshole who's kids she'd just left back in her den. Maybe she wasn't being held down in quite the same way but she was frankly tired of being held down at all! With a growl the woman tried to squirm over onto her back, flailing her head in a vain attempt to slam it into some part of the other woman and risking giving her opponent easy access to her stomach in an effort to try and kick the other woman off with her hind legs, winding up and then attempting to kick out with little restraint, not really aiming for any particular area, simply looking to get her attacker off.
