Steel and claw

The evening had been shaping up to be another quiet one for the Kleins when the battlecry of Artorias tore across the land. Aliana was curled up into Chimera's side when the call went out, the clouded fae instantly sitting upright with attentive alert. The time was now! "Shall we go say hello to our old friends, dear husband?" she purred to Chimera with a playful grin before she unwound herself from his grasp with a giggle and hurried to grab her apothecary's satchel of medicines. She kept a decent stock of combat-ready decoctions for just such an occasion. It had been a while since she'd been a part of a real raid, but time never weakened experience. She was ready.

Once Chimera had prepared himself, the Klein couple headed out to join the fray. The sounds of snarling combat from amidst the dense pine woods led the way, and before long Aliana saw the wolves fighting amongst the trees. It wasn't looking good for the Elysium wolves... Several had already been toppled and hobbling off to the sidelines to lick their wounds. Well, not if the clouded medic had anything to say about it! Avoiding the fighting entirely, Ali made her way over to Avacyn with her medicines, approaching the Matriarch and quickly pulling out a small bottle containing a pale green liquid. "Drink this. You're not done yet." With her medicine applied and Avacyn back in the fight, Ali kept to the sidelines so she could observe the rest of the fights, preferring to avoid the combat directly if she could.
