Deimos felt the resistance against his horn that told him it had connected with his opponent's cheek and his paw that pushed into the younger man's chest made a bit of distance between himself and Thorn. All in all, his plan was working perfectly. However, the boy thought quick and before he could pull his paw away to reset his stance Thorn pivoted quickly and grabbed his foreleg between his jaws. Silently cursing to himself, he tried to yank his leg away, but Thorn's teeth bit into flesh and his jaws were like a vice grip that kept him from budging. Well, that put a wrench in things. With a growl, he reared back onto his hind legs to free up his free forepaw and tried to swing his large paw at Thorn’s cheek, hoping to knock him loose and free his leg.
